9 THINGS TO DO TO AVOID WASTED LIFE

 

1.     Maintain quality spirituality, your spirituality is the foundation of your destiny. Strive to achieve high spiritual growth. This is important for every Christian. This helps to withstand the devil’s antics in all its forms. Ephesians 6 vs 10-12 finally, be strong in the lord and in the strength of his might. Vs 11 put on the whole amour of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Vs 12 says for our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the powers, against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The day you made up your mind to serve God, you have become a project in the kingdom of darkness. Devil will sure use humans who are his agent to taunt you on every side.

2.     Fellowship with people of the same faith. Maintain quality relationship with them. Very important.

3.     Live on purpose. There should be principles guiding your life, apart from keeping God’s law. Don’t allow some habits take root in your life, Example keeping late nights, drinking with ungodly men etc Daniel 1 vs. 8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the King’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank, therefore he requested of the prince of eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

4.     Develop your potentials, a man’s gift maketh room for him, your potential is the key to your lifting.

5.     Maximize life opportunities, seize the moment see then that walk circumspectly redeeming the time because the days are evil. procrastination causes delay.

6.     Make a difference on others  make impact in people. If you can assist other people. Live beyond yourself. Matthew 7 vs 12 "Therefore however you want people to treat you, so treat them for this is the law and the prophets 

7.     Avoid Strife:  2 timothy 2 vs 24 and the servant of the Lord must not strive, but be gentle unto all Men, apt to teach, patient. Every invitation to bitterness is invitation to backwardness.

8.     Be committed to Kingdom service Ex 23 vs. 25 And you shall serve the Lord thy God and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. Blessing is tied to serving God.

9.     Live with the consciousness of eternity. Rom 14 vs. 12 so then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
