Once upon a time, God gave man dominion over the whole earth, there was no death, Man was at league with the beasts of the earth, there was no need for Man to toil day and night, for all he needed was provided for, in the garden of Eden.
Then came devil in the form of serpent and deceived Eve who then deceived Adam, Man gave up his dominion to the devil and lost everything. He had to till the land , toil day and night for his daily meal, he lost his dominion and gave it to Satan who became the prince of the world, holding riches that ought to have been Adam’s, death was introduced, length of days was shortened, him and his wife became cursed.
God sought for a remedy, found one, someone had to come in form of Man to take back that dominion, to bear some burden, sacrifice his life, and equally teach us the new covenant. Great Prophets prophesied this great reckoning about to happen, thousands of years later, God’s plan materialized into the Earthly realm. A Child was born orchestrated by the holyspirit, to redeem Mankind from Eternal Damnation, and possess back the dominion stole by the devil.
Devil fought this baby, from cradle, he decided to finish him up by killing him, he didn’t know he paved the way for him to sacrifice with his blood and flesh. Because blood sacrifice speaks a lot in the realm of the spirit. That sacrifice paved the way for the new covenant, Jesus took the keys of death from him, and bought back dominion of Man, If you believe in Jesus and obey his will, No curse whatsoever will speak in your life. But if you don’t believe in him nor obey his will you are still under Satan’s dominion, torture, blindness and curses.
Christmas day is worth celebrating, Christians should rejoice because Christ gave humanity second chance, this day a deity entered the earthly realm. Unlike the other deity who rebelled, this deity came and was steadfast, he met God’s expectation and standards then God exalted him and gave him a name which is above all name. in any situation you find yourself at the mention of his name every knee must bow!
One may ask were you there since the beginning of the world to know all these? Since the beginning of this world we were told a spirit helped in the creation of all things through spoken words, the same spirit prepared the coming of Jesus Christ, prepared his fore runner John, orchestrated the earthly parents of Jesus (Mary and John). The same spirit dwell in us, and gave us this conviction. Generations to come, once they have this spirit, the celebration trend continues.
Celebrate Christmas day with this narration in mind. Don’t dwell so much on the materialistic aspect or the holiday aspect. Celebrate the beginning of the new covenant, Devil’s lost dominion. Thank you very much for reading.
